I.F. ROOKS
I.F. Rooks is headquartered in Central Florida and serves clients across the country and abroad. As part of our photogrammetric work, we provide digital orthophotos, helicopter mapping for DOT roadway projects, and detailed GIS base maps for cities, power plants, airports and university campuses. In addition, I.F. Rooks provides mobile and aerial LiDAR services.
Our team uses the Leica RCD30, a revolutionary digital camera made for airborne imaging.
As a digital successor to its RC30 film cameras, Leica Geosystems introduced the RCD30 as the first camera able to capture multispectral four-band imagery in near-infrared and RGB simultaneously.
The Leica RCD30 offers a variety of innovative design features such as motion compensation along two axes, a specially designed lens system, and state-of-the-art calibration techniques, making it the most advanced and most suitable single-lens medium-format sensor for photogrammetric and remote sensing applications.
As a result of its forward motion compensation technology, the RCD30 is capable of capturing sharp images at low altitudes, making it an ideal tool for helicopter mapping.
